Salvatore A. Pera, DMD

Experienced and compassionate, Dr. Salvatore Pera brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his practice as a general dentist, specializing in intricate cases. With extensive experience, he possesses a unique talent for identifying dental issues and crafting personalized treatment plans that cater to each patient’s aesthetic preferences, financial considerations, and evidence-based dentistry principles. As an Associate Professor in the Restorative Science department at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Pera shares his expertise by mentoring aspiring dentists and overseeing dental clinics at UPenn.

Dr. Pera’s educational journey includes attending St. Joseph’s Preparatory School, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Villanova University, graduating from Temple University Kornberg Dental School, and completing the NYU Maxi Course in Implant Prosthodontics.

During his down time, Dr. Pera finds solace at the Jersey Shore, where he enjoys unwinding with leisurely bike rides accompanied by the melodies of Tchaikovsky. He takes pride in his family, being a devoted husband and father to three children, two of whom are following in his footsteps and pursuing a career in dentistry.
